the weekend and the weekend before was spent in hospital instead of the usual destination - shopping mall. the lil boy started to cough and its getting worse. his daddy wanted to ensure his condition - the reason we went for the first trip.
the current trip because he had fever, due to the cough. he was diagnosed with lung infection. and the doctor request to conduct x-ray. he was given nebulizer before suction of the mucus. initially iskandar was restless trying to escape the mask, after a while he became relax, probably feeling his breathing doesn't require as much effort.

the doctor prescribed paracetamol and antibiotic. i gave him paracetamol the moment he had fever, before the trip to the hospital. antibiotic? anti la i. dia baru 7 bulan kut. saya kate pada abah iskandar, tak nak bagi. belum 8 bulan dah nak relay on antibiotic, tak nak la immune system dia tak mampu fight simple virus/bacteria. semakin lama semakin bergantung pada medication karang *mummy iskandar nak jadi doctor demi menjaga anak terunanya*pulang ke rumah saya pun google - lung infection in babies. yang keluar pneumonia. rasanya pneumonia ni penyakit teruk je. tak kan la iskandar kene pneumonia. the next closest to it is bronchiolitis. maka doctor wannabe ini diagnosed iskandar lung infection itu ialah bronchiolitis. its a common infection pun. antara bahan bacaan yang diketemui ialah di kidshealth.
balik tu saya kate pada abah iskandar - agaknya nurse tu kate kita tak pandai jaga anak tak?
however overall i have to say i was really satisfied with ummc. probably it was weekend, not many patient was around. the nurses, doctors and staff seems accommodating. the waiting was not long hours. consultation/examination with doctor, documentation and recording by nurses, the mask gas and extracting mucus, going to x-ray, pharmacy and payment at the counter only took an hour and a half!
