almost four months

Both pictures was taken few days before they turn 4 months old.

Sangat berbeza bila tengok saiz mereka. Tapi berat mungkin sama.

Satu berisi, satu memanjang.

Yang puasa susu ibu di siang hari berisi, yang minum sepanjang hari tidak pula.

Dari rahim yang sama tapi memang berbeza, karekter mereka juga sangat berbeza.

Home Made Play Dough, Flapjack & Choc Cake : Burnt

Over the weekend I made play dough, flapjack and chocalte cake. It was my first attempt on the recipe, all recipes are only with 5 ingrediants, a simple mixture - so I thought. It was simple but I managed to burnt it all *sigh*

I am not going to have a show on my failure, hence I didn't capture any of the burnt mixture.

Home Made Play Dough

7 table spoon flour

1 table spoon vege oil

1 table spoon tartar cream

1/2 tea spoon salt

I followed the recipe, however I didn't read the instruction. The instruction requires additional of water and food colouring of the desired colour. I managed to burnt the mixture, creating a peanut butter aroma before my other half interfre and suggest to add liquid. Then only I read the instruction which requires H2O!

Flapjack

25g baking choclate

125g butter

3 tablespoon sugar

100g rolled oats

50g chopped almonds & 50g raisins

Melt the butter, sugar and choc over stove. Mix the remaining dry ingrediants and levelled it on baking sheet of a baking tray. Bake it over 200 degree Celsius for 15-20minutes. Hubby set the fire but not tempreture and I forgot to remind him to check on it. When 12minutes was over, it was burnt having the tempreture at 230degree Celsius T_T

Choclate Cake

125g baking choclate

125g butter

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

3 table spoon flour

Melt the butter and choc over stove. Mix the remaining ingrediants and pour it into a mould. Bake it over 200 degree Celsius for 15-20minutes (if it is in a ramekin). I used bread mould, hence I should bake it a little longer, 30 minutes or so. HOWEVER, I forgot that we were baking. I only checked on it after 40minutes! Burnt around the mould. Managed to secure the middle and top the cake with ice cream *yummy*

Charlie

Image from amazon

Currently, this is Iskandar's favorite bed time story. Its pop up, addtional point to keep him mesmerized with the book.

I have been searching for a book to show a routine as Iskandar's guide. Luckly this book really helps him to understand that other kids also go through similar routine every night.

Now I need a book with 'morning routine'. Where can I find one with a reasonable price tag?

Thanks to Excess bookstore, I get my hand on this one at only RM24.90 =)

quiet

Haven't been in the composing mode for months now. Wish I have more determination to do some writing, especially on the boys' development. Something I knew for sure I would forget and missed.

Finishing work before its due and go home on time is my priority, not to mention uploading pictures is not as effecient as I wish it could be, spoiling my writing mood. However I am still an avid reader of my favorite blogs ;)

Owh, for now, young house love has been one of my favorites for quite sometimes. L-O-V-E THEM!!

weaning

Currently I am reading on this topic from different sorces, specially tru the net. I have been wondering when I should discontinue from bf the first born. He is turning 19 months in a week. Only another 5 months to go according to surah Al Baqarah of 2 years bf.

Well, I actually found out that I have been unconsiously trying to wean him. I have to admit I kind of feeling guilty towards him however sometimes I found bf 2 boys is a bit too overwhelming, more than I could handle especially during those 'long' days.

Sometimes me and hubby will distract him, most of the time when we were out and about - time is limited. If we are travelling in the car, then it's fine. And at other times I would simply tell him that I am not in the mood for it - so far with no success as he would cry his heart out. He understands but he refuse to take 'no' for the answer.

I really wonder how many days are left before he would wean. Would he self wean? Am I encoraging him to wean faster?
